He was married to ROSEMARY BROOKE HUNT (daughter of GEORGE KENNETH HUNT and NELLIE GLADYS ROBINSON) on 13 Nov 1954 in ST Clement's, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. ROSEMARY BROOKE HUNT was born on 19 May 1932. She died on 1 Sep 2001 in Brighton, East Sussex. Rosemary died suddenly. She had been ill for over 15 years with Parkinsons Disease WILLIAM (Bill) JOHN EDGE and ROSEMARY BROOKE HUNT had the following children:
